The Dutch Stockcar picture page for Tarmac and Dirt.

Geachte bezoeker,(12-03-2002)

Na enig overleg hebben we besloten om te stoppen met de Dutch Stockcar Picture Page. Om de voornaamste reden: tijdgebrek en het niet kunnen vinden van een gemotiveerde webmaster. Toen we 4 jaar geleden begonnen was dit de enige Nederlandse internetpagina gewijd aan het stockcar racen in Nederland en Engeland. Maar afgelopen jaren zijn er tientallen pagina's bijgekomen op het internet. Ook dit heeft meegeteld in de overweging om er mee te stoppen. Robert gaat een poging wagen om zelf in de stockcar te stappen en hij doet dat met de oude stockcar van #71 Henk Alberts. Momenteel wordt alle vrije tijd in dit project gestoken waardoor er geen tijd meer overblijft voor het up to date houden van de pagina.

Nadat we deze pagina 4 jaar geleden hadden opgezet hadden we niet verwacht dat we zoveel positieve reacties en bijdragen in de vorm van raceverslagen en foto's en uitslagen zouden krijgen. Wij willen dan ook de volgende mensen bedanken: En eerste plaats alle bezoekers van de Dutch Stockcar Picture Page, Durk en Eddy Osinga, Tonny Wissing, Colin Casserley, Johan Smith, Mario v/d Rijt, Mike Pemberton, John Vandekerckhove, Bart Driessen en iedereen die we vergeten zijn.

After much thought we have decided to stop the Dutch Stockcar Picture Page.
This has happened mainly due to lack of time and the fact that we could not
find a motivated webmaster. When we began 4 years ago thiswas the only Dutch
internet page aimed at Stockcar racing in both Holland and England, but
during the last few years  many new sites aimed at stockcar enthusiasts have
appeared on the internet. Another reason for stopping was the fact that
Robert has decided to have a go at stockcar racing  himself and he will be
doing this with the #71 stockcar of Henk Alberts, so that momentarily all
spare time is taken up with preparation for this and it leaves little time
over for updating the site.

When we began 4 years ago we had not expected so many positive reactions and
such input, in the form of reports, results and photos and we would like to
thank everyone for that.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following people:
firstly all the visitors to the Dutch Stockcar Picture Page, Durk and Eddy
Osinga, Tonny Wissing, Colin Casserley, Johan Smith, Mario v/d Rijt, Mike
Pemberton, John Vanderkerckhove, Bart Driessen, and everyone that we have
forgotten.
